Frequently asked questions
What does it cost during the pilot?
Nothing. Pilot partners get everything free until the pilot ends, with no card on file and nothing that starts charging automatically. When it ends we will talk to you first and agree a plan together. Your shop, your products and your orders stay exactly as they are either way.
Do you take a cut of my sales?
No. Isle Order is a flat monthly fee after the pilot and never a percentage. What your customer pays, you keep.
How do customers pay?
However you already take money. You tell Isle Order your methods, such as cash on collection, bank transfer or a payment app, and the order tells the customer how to pay. We never touch the money, which also means there is no card data to lose. Every order arrives marked unpaid until you confirm it.
Do my customers need to download anything?
No. Your shop is a normal web page, so they tap your link or scan your QR code and order. If they want to, they can add your shop to their home screen so it opens like an app, but that is their choice and takes one tap.
I already sell on Instagram and WhatsApp. Why change?
You do not have to stop. Most of our businesses keep posting exactly as they do now and put their Isle Order link in the bio and the status. The difference is that the order arrives complete, with the item, options, quantity, name and collection time, instead of spread across nine messages you have to piece together while serving somebody.
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes. You start at yourshop.isleorder.app, and you can point your own domain at it whenever you are ready. If you get the spelling wrong at signup you can change your address later, and the old one keeps working.
What happens to my data if I leave?
It is yours. Ask and we will export your products, orders and customer list in a usable format. Close your account and we delete what we hold.
Who is behind it?
Isle Order is built and run in Barbados by TAPP Digital Incorporated, part of the Isle Network Group, for Caribbean businesses. During the pilot, an email reaches a person rather than a queue.
